Author pov:

In the serene temple, a young girl stood before the deity, her palms joined together in reverence as she prayed with her eyes closed.

She wore a simple yet elegant blue chudidar with a net dupatta draped over her head, giving her an ethereal aura.

Her long, dark hair cascaded down her back, reaching her waist, framing her heart-shaped face.

Her button nose, rosy lips, and expressive eyes, like shimmering pools of darkness, made her look like a divine being.

As the priest approached with the arati, she opened her eyes, revealing a sparkle of hope and determination.

She accepted the arati with a gentle smile, and the priest asked, "Isha beta, aaja kya bahut khush lag rahi ho?" (Child Isha, why do you look so happy today?)

She smiled radiantly at him, her eyes shining with excitement, "Pandit ji, today is special. I've been waiting for three years, and I hope to receive the Best Businesswoman award today."

"I hope you win, beta," the priest said, giving her blessings as he placed his hand on her head.

Ishika accepted the prasad and walked out of the temple, situated on the outskirts of the city, nestled in the mountains.

She looked around at the lush green surroundings and listened to the sweet songs of birds filling the crisp morning air.

It was 7 am, and the winter fog carried a chill, but the dark clouds above seemed to hold a promise of better things to come.

With a sense of hope and determination, Isha took steps towards her car, her heels clicking on the pavement.

She got into the car, placed the prasad on the back seat, and drove towards her home, her mind focused on the day ahead.

An hour later, she arrived at her mansion, where the guards opened the gates for her with a nod of respect. She stopped the car in front of the entrance, took the prasad and her chunni (scarf), and handed the car keys to the guards with a smile.

As she walked into the main hall, she saw her parents, Priya and Vijay, sitting there, engaged in a warm conversation. They looked up at her with affection.

"Come, Isha beta," her mother called out with a warm smile, patting the seat beside her. Isha sat down, feeling a sense of belonging.

"You know today is important," her dad said, patting her head. "I'm preparing for this day for the last three years," Ishika replied, her parents looking at her with pride.

Just then, her brother Siddharth arrived, his eyes sparkling with teasing. "Oh, so today my little sister is going to receive the Best Businesswoman award, huh?" he said with a chuckling voice. Isha took out the prasad and gave it to everyone.

"Yeah, bhai, but you can't get naa," she said playfully.

"Oye choti, I can also get that; don't think I'm not capable," Siddharth replied with a grin.

Priya and Vijay smiled at their children, happy to see them bonding.

"And Isha beta, you know if you get the award, I'm going to announce you as the CEO of the company," her dad said, his eyes shining with pride.

Ishika smiled, knowing she was already the chairwoman but had no power like her dad, the CEO. Siddharth had his own company and didn't want to depend on his dad.

"Ji baba, I'm also waiting; I hope I don't crush your hopes," Ishika said, her dad giving her a side hug.

"Bas ab chalo, breakfast karna hai," her mom said, and they all headed to the dining table to have breakfast together in peace.

After finishing breakfast, Ishika said, "Maa, Baba, my chal thi hu (I have to go), and don't forget to take your medicine on time." Her dad nodded like a little child, and her mother chuckled.

"And Isha, I sent the man's information to you; check it out, beta. I also want you to get married," her mother said.

"Maa, I'm just-" Isha started, but her mother cut her off.

"No buts, Isha. I asked six months ago, and he's a good person, beta. He's my best friend's son, and I promised her that my daughter would marry him; it's her last wish, beta," her mother said, her eyes pleading.

Isha didn't want to upset her mother, so she remained silent. Siddharth intervened, "Are, Mom, why are you asking if your friend's daughter wants to marry? I can marry her; he has any sister? I can marry, and her wish will also be complete."

Vijay chuckled at Siddharth's words, and Isha tried to stifle a laugh, even though she was a shy person.

"Haa, theek hai, maha Raj. Pehle aapki bhen ki shadi hone do, phir aapke shadi kar thae hai," Priya said, slapping Siddharth's shoulder. Isha and Vijay burst out laughing.

"Whatever, Isha beta, see his profile, beta. If you like, I can fix a date with him," Priya said. Isha nodded reluctantly.

"Okay, bye," Isha said, trying to escape the conversation.

"Oye choti, I want our next collaboration; tell your secretary to prepare a meeting with my team and yours," Siddharth said in a professional tone.

"Oh, bhai, are you asking me or ordering me?" Isha questioned him with raised eyebrows.

"I'm ordering you, my little sister," he replied, eating his chapati aggressively.

"Okay, okay," Isha said with a smile.

As she walked out of the dining room, her secretary, Sharanya, sat on the couch, engrossed in her tab.

"Oh, madam, kya kar rahi ho, itna serious rakha hai aapna face," Isha said, sitting down beside her.

Sharanya lifted her head and leaned back. "Kya kare, ma'am, aapko ka tho pura din schedule full hai, aur aapko party bhi attend karna. And yeah, Isha, your dress will arrive at 6; the party will start at 7; they will announce the winner at 7:30; after 2 hours, the party will end; and at 9, you have a meeting with a Russian gora ladka who is a model, and for our next new collection."

Isha sighed, feeling overwhelmed.

"And-" Sharnaya started, but ishika cut her off.

"Ruka ja, meri maa, aur kitna hai," Ishika said, exasperated. A maid came and handed her a bag. "And let's go."

Sharanya nodded. "And about-" Isha cut her off again.

"Anaya, meri jaan, thoda ruk javo, mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha. And today is Samar's birthday; I have to give him a gift," Isha said, thinking about what to gift her boyfriend.

"Ishu, I don't think he's correct for you; I'm getting negative vibes from him, yrr," Sharanya said, closing her tab.

"Yes, but he loves me," Ishika said, but Sharanya raised an eyebrow, folding her hands across her chest.

"No, Ishu, he just met you six months ago. How can you think that he loves you? Just because he says he loves you doesn't mean he really does. And what about you? Do you love him?" Sharanya questioned, her voice laced with concern.

Ishika went silent, her mind racing back to the man who had taken her heart years ago. She knew she couldn't get him, and that's why she wanted to move on from him. He didn't know she existed in this world, but for her, he was her world. Even though he was miles away, she had accepted Samar's proposal to try and get over her feelings for him.

"Anaya, I don't know, but I'm just with Samar because he said he loves me. I don't know if I love him or not," Ishika admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Did you ever even kiss?" Sharanya asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Ishika's eyes widened in shock. "What are you saying? You know I won't let him touch me until we get married. He's okay with that, and this evening, I will tell Mom and Dad about him," Ishika said, starting to walk away from the mansion, Sharanya following closely behind.

Ishika pov:

As the car halted in front of the Singhaine Industry, I stepped out with Anaya, and the driver went to park the car.

I walked into the lounge, where everyone greeted me with warm smiles and good mornings.

I nodded in response, and Anaya followed closely behind, her gaze fixed on her tab as she tried to perfect my schedule so I could get some rest.

"Anaya, yarr, kya kar rahi ho? Dekh kar chalo, warna khai gir javo gee," I teased, and she looked up, slightly startled.

"Okay, madam ji, chaliye," she replied, and we stepped into the private lift. I clicked the button for the 45th floor, which was exclusively reserved for the chairperson.

When I was 21, my dad made me join the company as an intern, and after just five months, he offered me the position, even though I was still in university.

I tried to balance both, but my dad said I didn't need to study that much, assuring me that even if I failed, he would still give me the chairperson position.

But I'm a nerd who studies like I breathe, and I came first in college. My dad, mom, and bhai were proud of me, and I was proud of myself too.

Just then, Anaya's voice broke my thought. "Ohh, mata ji, hosh me aaye, kha kho gaye ho?" she asked, concern etched on her face.

We entered our cabin, and I started checking files while Sharanya went to do her work. I let out a deep sigh, feeling a sense of responsibility wash over me.

After attending two meetings and checking some files, I glanced at the clock and saw it was already 12 pm.

"Why hasn't Nitya come with the new project file?" I thought. Nitya was also a friend from college, and her father was close to my dad, who had given her a job.

I couldn't say no to her, but she always neglected her work.

I rose from my chair, walked out of my cabin, and entered the lift.

I thought about what I had to give Samar - a watch, tie, suit, shoes - things I had never given him as gifts. The lift door opened, and I stepped out, walking towards Nitya's cabin.

I opened the door without knocking, and my heart shattered. My chest tightened, and I felt like I was lacking breath.

What the hell was this? Why hadn't I seen this until now? Nitya was lying on the table, half-naked, and Samar was hovering over her, his face buried in her neck.

He lifted his head, and I shook mine, tears welling up in my eyes. I gulped my saliva.

A voice rang in my ears, "Holy fuck..." It was Sharanya.

I blinked my eyes twice, and they adjusted their clothes.

They looked at me with pity, their faces pale and shocked.

Samar, a neurosurgeon, looked like he had been caught red-handed.

I rubbed my fingers on my forehead, trying to process what I had just seen. I wasn't going to cry for this bastard.

"Ishu, I told you I'm getting bad vibes from him. See now, he's cheating on you," Sharanya screamed. I turned my head, and she looked at them with disgust.

Nitya was closing her shirt buttons, trying to cover herself. "Nitya, you're fired," I said, my voice firm.

She shook her head, "No, Ishika, you can't—"

I cut her off, "Ma'am, say ma'am. You're just a normal employee. I'm the CEO of this company. You can't call me like that. You're fired, and you, Mr. Samar, I'm breaking up with you right now."

My throat hurt like someone was putting needles in it, but I stood firm. I turned to Sharanya, "Call security."

She nodded and called them. "It's not a brothel where you can do anything you want. This is my office, where people work hard. They're pure, and you can't ruin this place with your bad deeds."

They stood up, and Samar tried to touch me. I took steps back, "Don't touch me, you're disgusting."

The guards entered, and I said, "Throw them out."

They nodded, and I left the cabin, trying to process the scene I had just witnessed.

Author pov :

8 hours later

Ishika's face was a deep crimson, her eyes glassy from the alcohol coursing through her veins. She stumbled, her legs trembling beneath her, as she made her way towards the stairs. Just as she was about to collapse, two strong arms wrapped around her waist, holding her upright. She turned to face her rescuer, her gaze locking onto his chiseled features.

"You're handsome... just like him," she murmured, her voice barely audible.

The stranger's expression remained neutral, but his eyes crinkled at the corners, betraying a hint of amusement. Without thinking, Ishika grasped his collar, pulling him closer. Her lips crashed onto his, and his eyes widened in surprise. A smirk played on his face as he cupped her cheek, his other hand tightening around her waist. He lifted her off the ground, and Ishika felt like she was flying.

As she closed her eyes, he deepened the kiss, his lips rough and demanding. Ishika's hands clenched around his biceps, her body caged in his arms. She kissed him back with equal fervor, their tongues entwining in a passionate dance. He pinched her waist, and she gasped, her breathing heavy.

As they broke apart for a moment, Ishika's hands fluttered to his shoulders

, her eyes still closed. He whispered huskily in her ear,

"Welcome to hell, trésor."
